The parade features dozens of balloons and floats ranging from giant Snoopys to superheros that are 80 feet tall and take over 90 people to handle. Then, there are the cheerleaders, dancers, clowns and foot-stomping marching bands that number in the thousands! Each parade is planned a year in advance to ensure an outstanding viewing experience for those who are watching in person (like you) as well as the folks who are watching at home while the turkey is roasting.

Save the date: New York City’s famous Thanksgiving Day parade is happening on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The parade kicks off at 9 a.m. and wraps up around noon.
