Last year, Nicky Jam was the big winner. He took home six awards for hot Latin songs solo male artist of the year, Latin rhythm songs artist of the year, digital song of the year, streaming song of the year and Latin rhythm song of the year.
Naturally, there will be plenty of live singing and dancing at the September 23rd show, like there always is. Surprise duets always exceed expectations.
Nominations have yet to be announced, but don’t be surprised to see Ozuna & Romeo Santos, Jennifer Lopez, Enanitos Verde and Hombres G, Jorge Drexler or Shakira in the running for numerous awards.
