GREAT SELECTION OF AFTER-PARTIES AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS®
For those who like to pick and choose or are very selective about whom they party with, the Academy Awards has got it going on. Oscar® after-parties aren’t just parties—they are traditions hosted by high profile movers and shakers in the entertainment industry. They’re also some of the most widely anticipated bashes Hollywood sees every year. Because they’re so popular, tickets go fast, so a word to the wise should be sufficient. Get your tickets early, or you might be disappointed when they’re all sold out.
Perhaps the most prominent shindig is Elton John’s Oscar® Viewing Dinner and After-Party at the West Hollywood Park. It’s packed full of celebrities who have nothing better to do than hang out with other celebrities. Some movie stars even donate items for the live auction. All proceeds from the party go to John’s AIDS Foundation, so it’s not only a true A-list party–it benefits a real A-list cause. Noted and notorious Chef Gordon Ramsey is preparing the meal, so there will definitely be first class chow. Be forewarned. Don’t go to Elton John’s party unless you want to hang out with the likes of Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart, Sharon Stone, Simon Cowell, Josh Grogan, Ellen Degeneres, Goldie Hawn, Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale. John takes care of the musical entertainment by performing with his band and having other musicians sit in. This year’s musical guest is Ed Sheeran. When the band’s taking five, DJ Johnny Dynell will be spinning the hits. Don’t miss it.
James Cameron’s Academy Awards Black Tie Gala is another hot ticket on March 2. This A-list event is a Fame & Philanthropy gathering with a 5-star meal prepared by a celebrity chef. After that, there’s a fashion show, a musical performance and a live auction with proceeds benefiting the CITY Project among other charities. It’s all going down at the Beverly House-Hearst Mansion. You can buy tickets for the gala dinner with after-party or for the after-party alone. VIP table options are also available. Contact us to make your reservations.
The Night of 100 Stars Oscar® Viewing Dinner and After-Party brings together nearly 200 stars, industry heavyweights and corporate underwriters. Some 50 previous Oscar® winners and nominees will be rubbing elbows and having a real good time. Why shouldn’t you be among them? It’s one of the best and largest of all the parties associated with the Academy Awards®. It’s happening at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
If that’s not enough for you, you could also check out the Weinstein Brothers after-party at the Mondrian Hotel. There’s an open bar, so even the thirstiest partiers can wet their whistles to their hearts’ content. The Weinsteins are known for their awesome parties, and this year’s bash should be no exception.
Call us soon and get your tickets before they’re all snatched up. Any of these parties is a real rang dang doo that you’ll never forget.
