Think about Al Pacino’s career. How many iconic lines of dialogue did he say in how many classic films like the Godfather series, Scarface, Glengarry Glen Ross, Serpico, Scent of a Woman, Carlito’s Way, Cruisin’ and dozens of other great films. Pacino is easily one of the greatest actors in all of film history. He established himself during the 1970s, one of film’s greatest decades. Since then, he’s left a trail of celluloid history around the world.
This year, The American Icon Awards show is honoring Academy Award winner, Al Pacino, a national treasure and iconic figure from the world of stage, film and television. This black-tie event will include a cocktail reception, spectacular silent and live auctions, a gourmet dinner, awards ceremony and a star-studded concert, produced by 16-time, Grammy Award winner David Foster.
