“A Quiet Place 2” Premiere and After Party
Date/Location: Sunday, March 8th, 2020, New York City
Nothing succeeds like success in the world of motion pictures. After A Quiet Place was produced for less than $17 million and rang up the box office for over $50 million on opening weekend, talk and numbers were in the air for a sequel. After all, the film wasn’t expected to do more than $20 million when it opened, and it more than doubled those figures. By the end of its worldwide run, it had raked in $350 million. That’s the kind of return on investment that movie producers cannot resist. Forget the sequel, this is a franchise. A Quiet Place even had a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was called “genuinely scary.”
So, here we are. A Quiet Place 2, the sequel, the first installment of the franchise, however it’s classified, is world premiering on Sunday, March 8, in New York City. All the main stars are back to reprise their roles, and big things are expected to come from that great big apple. Check out the trailer. Looks as scary as the first one, doesn’t it? The writers who conceived and wrote the original did not want to be involved in a franchise, so the star of the first movie wrote and directed the sequel. The buzz is going all across town for this tentpole, which some might say begins the summer movie season. And here at VIP Concierge, we say, Yeah, bring it on!
There’s nothing like a real live Hollywood style premiere for any film, but for one that enjoyed the amount of success that A Quiet Place had, the sequel will be highly anticipated, especially by fans. Fans like you.
