Experience Nashville Like a VIP
When it comes to country music, it doesn’t get bigger or better than Nashville. The Country Music Association® has been based in Music City since its founding in 1958, and its annual award show isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Nashville is the perfect spot for an award show honoring the top country players and their accomplishments.
As if the usual crush of tourists clamoring around the SoBro area isn’t enough, the influx of bands and fans makes Nashville’s Strip the most happening spot on earth that night. As far as location goes, it’s safe to say that Nashville’s the one. Visitors can enjoy the plethora of local bars, honky tonks, nightclubs, showbars, fine dining, barbecue joints and hot chicken shops. The city is a smorgasbord of fun things to do, hear, watch, eat and drink. We can hardly wait for the second week of November, and we bet you can’t either!
Who are the 2025 CMA Nominees?
The County Music Association® is expected to reveal the next crop of CMA nominees in early to mid September. In 2024, Lainey Wilson was among the first to express her appreciation for receiving four CMA nominations as she attended New York Fashion Week in Carolina Herrera. Here’s a look at this year’s top nominees, as well as one big name that got a major snub.
Top Nominees for 2024
- City council members in Nashville may have shot down Morgan Wallen’s bar sign, but with seven nominations, including nods for Entertainer of the Year and his megahit collab “I Had Some Help,” he’s proved that he rules this town.
- Chris Stapleton is back with five nominations in prestigious categories like Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Male Vocalist.
- Cody Johnson fared equally well, also earning five nods. The Texas native earned multiple nominations for “Dirt Cheap” plus two nominations for Music Video of the Year.
- Post Malone is another standout at this year’s CMAs with four nominations. His duet with Morgan Wallen earned him nods for Song of the Year, Single of the Year, Best Music Video and Musical Event of the Year.
- Country star and Yellowstone cowgirl Lainey Wilson racked up four nominations for Entertainer of The Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and Video of the Year.
Other Nominees
- The three-nomination club is strong at this year’s CMAs. Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Macey Musgraves, Louis Bell, Hoskins and Charlie Handsome earned multiple nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
- The CMAs are also honoring a variety of newcomers. Performers who’ve been considered for best new artist include Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Bailey Zimmerman, Zach Top, Mitchell Tenpenny and Nate Smith.
- Competition is stiff for Entertainer of the Year. Last year’s winner Lainey Wilson is up for a second award this year. She’ll be competing for the title alongside Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen.
- One artist who wasn’t nominated for a CMA award also made headlines. The CMAs snubbed Beyonce’s latest album “Cowboy Carter,” but even she says, “This ain’t a country album. It’s a ‘Beyonce’ album.”

What’s County Late Night?
Country Late Night is an annual tradition following the CMA Awards®. After the ceremony wraps up, celebrities and special guests traditionally make the two-block trek to Blake Shelton’s downtown restaurant, retail outlet and performance venue Ole Red, which is located on Broadway in the heart of the downtown area.
Guests are treated to gourmet food, premium drinks and intimate live performances from hand-picked musicians, such as Morgan Alexander and Lindsay Ell. The event also includes a silent auction featuring signed memorabilia and collectibles that you won’t find anywhere else. When you upgrade to Ultra VIP, you’ll enjoy reserved seating closer to the stage, plus celebrity meet and greets, photo opportunities, on-site hospitality and more!
Exceptional Performances
Nobody beats the CMAs when it comes to big productions, as you surely witnessed at past shows. Come on. Recent performers have included Morgan Wallen, Post Malone, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker and Chris Stapleton! Did we mention Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson and it-girl Carly Pearce? There’s no mercy coming from that lineup.
The award show also serves up some touching moments, such as Mac McAnally’s heartfelt tribute to the late, great Jimmy Buffett, which featured special guests Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and the Zac Brown Band. If you were lucky enough to be there, you were pummeled by the scope, power and joy those performers brought to those in attendance. Even if you watched on TV (our deepest condolences), you felt the effect.
See Country Music Legends at the CMA Awards®
From Brad Paisley to Reba McEntire, the Country Music Association® has passed the hosting torch to an impressive list of stars over the years. For 2024, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning returned as co-hosts, and we’re hoping they team up again for 2025. There’s no doubt that the CMAs have some prime male and female assets. Props to Lainey Wilson who took home five awards in 2023. She’s now the proud owner of trophies for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Female Vocalist. This year, she claimed two more trophies for Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year. We’re sure to see her again next year!
This highly anticipated award show embraces all members of the county music community. The royalty, the newbies, the singers, the songwriters, the singer/songwriters, the producers and their infinite number of smash hits and big productions. Thanks to VIP Concierge, at least a few lucky country music fans are represented too.
