BEFORE YOU GO TO THE 2013 MTV MOVIE AWARDS, HERE ARE THE NOMINEES

October 10,2015

The nominees are out, the polls are open, and tickets to the MTV Movie Awards are selling faster than hot dogs in New York City. It’s going to be an irreverent youth culture film-fest when MTV doles out the golden popcorn. In case you were wondering, the ceremony is happening on the lot of Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The most important thing that you need to know is where to buy your passes and that would be from VIP Award Show Tickets. What you really want to know, however, is who the nominees are and who is going to win. The categories include some classics as well as some adventurous picks that only MTV could’ve invented.

Movie of the Year is a contest between “The Avengers,” “Dark Knight Rises,” Django,” “Silver Linings Playbook” and “Ted.” It’s the usual suspects in the Best Female and Best Male Performance categories, so we’ll skip over them and visit some more interesting ones like Best WTF Moment. The honorable nominees in this distinguished category include Seth MacFarlane for “Ted Gets Saucy”, Anna Camp for her “Hack-Appella” performance in “Pitch Perfect” and Denzel Washington for his “Final Descent” in “Flight.” Javier Bardem was also nominated for his rendition of “Oops . . . There Goes His Face” in “Skyfall.”

Next on our tour are Christian Bale, Channing Tatum, Ted, Taylor Lautner and Daniel Craig, who are up for the Best Shirtless Performance award. In the Best Kiss category, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg are celebrating a nomination, but the competition is tough. Emma Watson and Logan Lerman are nominated for a passionate kiss in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.” Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are nominated for “Silver Linings Playbook,” 12-year-olds Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman for “Moonrise Kingdom” and Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx for “Django.”

“Ted” and “Django Unchained” are the most nominated films in the fan-voted contest with seven nominations each. The beloved “Silver Linings Playbook” is a strong contender with six nominations. Everyone will vote, but only a few fans will be there to see the winners live. Don’t miss the funnest, funniest awards show. Get your 2013 MTV Movie Awards tickets now.
