On April 23, 2016, Radio Disney is getting down Los Angeles style. It’s going to be a blast, a gas and a smashing success. Count the days from your winter vacation until spring break. Then, the Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA) will be on the way. There will be performances, red carpet entrances and surprise visits from your favorite Disney personalities and performers. Whew! Brace yourself because there’s sure to be so much more going on inside the Microsoft Theater in L.A. Live.

With more than 31 million fans in the United States and abroad, one a few young VIPs will be on the red carpet alongside celebrities. We don’t believe in favoritism or nepotism. In fact, we’re pretty sure that we don’t have any nephews or relatives, unless you count our sister sites VIP Concierge and VIP Movie Premiere Tickets. 1. Warm up your vocal cords to prepare for nagging. Target the parent who’s more likely to be a pushover, and say please at least 180 times or until they say yes or tell you to shut up.

2. Ask the same parent to take you to the mall. Then, drag them into your favorite store to pick out the perfect award show outfit.

3. Practice acting normal around posters and cardboard cutouts of Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas.

4. Calmly wait until April 23.

5. Have fun at the RDMAs!
